Remember Why You Started

With summer behind us and the falling leaves ushering in the fall, I've been thinking alot about my progress this year toward my 2014 goals. Year end is just a few months away!
Sometimes I get so flustered, frustrating, all the other "F"'s! LOL! I'm not where I wanted to be by this time, but again, I'm still in the hunt for year end. But sometimes, I just get so upset with myself that I feel like quitting. Ever feel like that? I was supposed to have 2 singles out by now, with a 3rd out in October....
What got in the way??? Life, of course. Isn't it always? My saving grace is the absolute love and addiction I have to music-making. It brings me such tremendous joy and a sense of peace, I am drawn to it. And then I remember why I have all of these lofty goals, why I strive for excellence and my path though not easy is MY path, my journey.
Doesn't matter -- I'll keep pushing, keep creating, keep believing. And I will be telling you in no time at all how different things are from where they were on September 20, 2014!
